# Hexhold

> Hexhold is a web map of the whole world that zooms from countries down to individual neighbourhoods (for example World › Turkey › Ankara › Çankaya › Bahçelievler), with a game on top. Each neighbourhood has one commander. Captains win command by clearing a neighbourhood of mutants from their mothership in a short fight, and can raid one another to take it over. Nothing is for sale. Hexhold is made by Magnifica Labs.

## Rules

- Only neighbourhoods can have a commander. A neighbourhood is the smallest administrative area, with no smaller area inside it; in Turkey these are mahalleler. Countries, provinces and districts are only used for navigation.
- An empty neighbourhood is held by mutants. Winning the fight against them makes a captain its commander for 7 days.
- A neighbourhood another captain commands can be taken with a raid; winning the raid starts a new 7-day command.
- A commander's neighbourhood sends resources to their mothership every hour. Watching an ad boosts one neighbourhood's output by 30% for 4 hours.
- The commander's name and the dates are public. Email addresses are never shown.
- Neighbourhoods are never sold. The only optional purchase is a repair kit (a day without waiting between fights), handled by Polar as merchant of record. Hexhold never sees card details.
- Captains also play hand games (Stone Mine, Gold Rush, Crystal Stack) and space battles, and upgrade their mothership through ship classes.
